The product
How does purple mouthwash work?
Purple sits opposite yellow on the colour wheel, so it visually neutralises yellow tones on the tooth surface at the moment of use. It's the same principle as purple shampoo for blonde hair. This is a cosmetic, optical effect rather than chemical bleaching.
Is this the same as whitening strips?
No. Strips use a peroxide gel to lift stains chemically over days or weeks. This works optically and takes effect immediately, but it doesn't build up the same way. Many people use both.
Will it burn?
No. It's alcohol-free. Alcohol rinses sting and dry the mouth out, and a dry mouth is where odour-causing bacteria do best.
Does it help with breath as well?
Yes. Fresh mint flavour, no alcohol burn.
How often should I use it?
One sachet a day. A box of 20 lasts about three weeks.
Do I rinse with water afterwards?
No. Tear, swish for 30 seconds, spit. Rinsing with water washes the effect away.
Will it stain my tongue or my sink?
It's a temporary tint that clears when you spit, and it doesn't stain enamel. Wipe the sink if any splashes.
Is it safe on sensitive teeth?
It contains no peroxide and no bleaching agents, which are the usual cause of whitening sensitivity. If you have ongoing dental sensitivity or gum problems, speak to your dentist before adding anything new to your routine.
Can I use it with aligners or retainers?
Yes. Rinse before your trays go back in. It's a mouth rinse, not an appliance cleaner — it isn't intended to clean the tray itself.
What's in it?
Aqua, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sorbitol, Polysorbate 20, Mentholum, Citric Acid, Sodium Saccharin. Alcohol-free and peroxide-free.
Can children use it?
We don't recommend it for children under 12, as younger children often swallow rather than spit.

When will my order arrive?
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Delivery is typically 6-9 business days in Canada, 6-10 in the United States, 7-12 in the UK and 9-15 in Australia.
Will I be charged customs duties?

What is your return window?
30 days from delivery.
What condition does the item need to be in?
For hygiene reasons, opened boxes cannot be returned. Unopened items in original packaging can be returned within the 30-day window.
What if I opened it and didn't get on with it?
Email us anyway and tell us what happened. We can't resell an opened box, but we'd rather hear about it.
